These are all descendants of the original
'Taffi-Da-Cymru' whose image was originally born on a scrap of plastic for a rather cheeky radio-control animated model
built by Paul Jeffries from Surrey. These are a well practised design as so many people seem to want a dragon of their very
own,.. apparently they are supposed to bring good luck or was that protection? Anyway, they are very popular.
For a little more, a semi-precious gemstone can be set as the eye, depending entirely on availability of the stones and also the price of the particular stone you chose. Settings have been Tiger-eye, Garnet, Saphire, Emerald, Jade, Lapis, Opal plus others. I was once asked how much a diamond would cost, trust me, that was never done! We opted for Moon-Stone instead.
